Symposium: 'A rich future for Conservation Biology theory'

Presentations and summarizing movies by the speakers of the symposium which was kept on the 6th November 2014 in the Academiegebouw of Leiden University, organized by the department Conservation Biology of the Institute of Environmental Sciences (CML). It was in honor of the retirement of prof.dr.ir. Wouter T. de Groot.


Studenten presenteren resultaten afvalonderzoek

Een maand lang onderzochten studenten van de minor Duurzame Ontwikkeling het afvalbeleid van de gemeente Leiden. Op 4 februari presenteerden zij hun bevindingen aan een panel van deskundigen uit de Leidse afval- en recyclingwereld. Met het pleidooi: laat de onderzoeksresultaten niet in de prullenbak verdwijnen.


Workshop: Transgenes Going Wild?

Lorentz center organises the workshop called "Transgenes Going Wild? - Risk Assessment of Transgene Introgression from Crops into Wild Relatives ".  The workshop will be held from 11 July 2011 through 15 July 2011.


ERSCP-EMSU 2010 Conference

Delft University of Technology (TU Delft), The Hague University of Applied Sciences (THU) and TNO Delft will together organize the 14th ERSCP conference and the 6th EMSU conferences in Delft, the Netherlands, on October 25-29, 2010, in collaboration with Erasmus University Rotterdam, Leiden University (CML) and various other (international) partners.
